Christmas & New Year Dives

I had a marvelous Christmas and an awesome New Year celebration. What could be better than celebrating at Sipadan Water Village Resort and Pompong Island Resort with such a wonderful group of friends? Every moment was definitely Fiesta!

I won't go into long winding details of my trips so since I do believe that a picture tells a thousand words, I hope mine can tell you how I felt too. I would like to thank all the readers for your unending support and would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2009!

Thank you for your praise and support good friend. I am in fact, a fan of your pictures. I am but a novice inexperienced photographer who is still learning to master my old, lil Olympus 5050. Hopefully I can truly master it to move on to the planned DLSR. When I do, I promise everyone a new tier of class and quality. Thanks again mate.

I don't think I am ready yet mate, I lack experience and skill, there is still so much to learn and discover with this old camera of mine too. I personal think its pointless to run when I still can't walk properly. But I am getting there...

lol, I just noticed Candid Face looks like Nicholas Cage. Also peek-a-boo looks cute. @w@

*shudder* I'm afraid of the Ocean so I'd never wanna see these things half these things close up, but the pictures are good quality and it looks like you had fun partying. New Years is always fun, have a good one.

Nicholas Cage LOL!

Heya Natsuko thanks for commenting! Glad you like the pics even though hairy legs and strange eyes scares you...

alli, yeah last time was at similan... i remember we had a good time exchanging gifts and watching fireworks from the upper deck...had fun (minus the puking...hahaha)

Allister Lee said...

Yeah babe hahaha I nearly puked. Twice. I didn't know seasick pills were so 'KICK' and I swallowed four at the same time and got KO'd... LOL

I wanna dive Pom pom again!!!!!I miss the Flabellina and Mandarin this timeee...boom!

Allister Lee said...

Yeah Mandarin Fish everywhere at 2 meters. One problem is the sea urchins. There are just too many of them, so I guess experience is needed to not just spot them but to take pictures of them without getting hurt.

Kudos to the dive guide, Ah Phin who found the initially lost dive site (the rope was cut and the buoy was lost). Have to respect that guy being able to find that small mandarin fish spot in such a big reef and without any navigation tools too. Experience, experience, experience.
